KARACHI: The Government of Sindh today issued a notification about the closure of markets and shops at 8pm in line with the energy conservation plan announced by the federal government. The notification says that wedding halls will also remain open till 12 mid night. However, petrol pumps, automobile service stations, railway station, trains, airports, ports, bakery shops, medical stores, surgical instrument shops and burial centers have been exempted from the ban.
ISLAMABAD: Pursuing the energy conservation plan of the government, CNG stations in Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa remained closed on Tuesday which will enhance electricity generation by 940 MW.
