Death toll in US drone strikes reaches 19
MIRANSHAH: The death toll in three separate US drone strikes has climbed to 19 in North Waziristan, Geo News reported on Saturday. Early in the morning, in two US drone strikes at least fifteen suspected militants were killed and many others injured. Security official in Miranshah confirmed the attacks in Mandi Khel and Ghoresti areas of the agency. In third such missile strike, four people were killed local security officials said. The latest strike, the third in a single day, took place in Datta Khel — some 20 kilometres (13 miles) west of Miranshah, the main town in North Waziristan tribal district — taking the day’’s death toll to 19.
