14 dead in two days Karachi targeted killings
KARACHI: Six more people have been killed in separate incidents of targeted killings in Karachi, raising the toll up to 14 in two days. According to police, firing by unknown gun men killed a seven year old girl, Bakhtawar, in Chakiwara area of Lyari. In similar incidents, 28-year-old Muhammad Iqbal was gunned down in Baldia Town; motorcycle riders opened fire in Nusrat Bhutto Colony killing Shaukat, 28; while Zakir, 35, was shot dead at Numaish Chowrangi. In Orangi Town, unidentified men’s firing killed 40-year-old Anwar Zaib; a bullet-riddled body of a youth was found from dyke no 5 at Malir River while two persons were injured by firing of unknown assailants in Qasba Colony. Two men sustained bullet injuries in a firing incident in Khando Goth, North Nazimabad and two more were hurt in an attack by armed assailants in Orangi Town.
