WEST INDIES VS ENGLAND

The experience of Ramnaresh Sarwan and Shivnarine Chanderpaul guided West Indies into the ICC World Twenty20 semi-finals after the top order had lost their head in a reduce chase of 80 in nine overs. A succession of wild shots meant West Indies were 45 for 5 in the sixth over, but Sarwan and Chanderpaul calmly added 37 in three overs to leave their team celebrating and the hosts going out.

England made 161 in 20 overs, but due to rain match was decreased to just 9 overs , and west indies had to make 80 runs in 9 overs, which atlast they made it pretty easily . At the start west indies looked crumsy and 5 wicket were down at just under 50 but sarwan and chanderpaul played sensibly and headed their team to the semis.

Pakistan , South africa and West indies have qualified for the semis, but the fourth teams will be decided in tomorrows match , SL vs NZ , winner of the match will head to the semis as well.

congratulations to pakistan again for playing above average, we are not happy though with this performance, because pakistan should had to make 180 against ireland, i mean , we have such a strong batting line , but i wonder why Misbah,  Shoaib malik and Younis are not playing long inning, I am pretty impressed with Afrdi though, it looks as he finally realized that every ball is not deserved to be six or four, he made 29 and 21 in last two innings with playing quiet sensibly, so i would suggest him to play only for singles and doubles and if you want to hit hard, hit it down the ground with as much powers as you want to show as being pathhan , don’t just rocketize the ball.

SL should be beaten tomorrow, as if NZ wins tomorrow then most probably pakistan will play WI in semis otherwise, they will have to face South Africa !
