Financial Aid and Pakistan

Well, as our statistics shows, pakistan can’t live a single day without aid from USA or other country. A country of 150 Million and more, a country with more than 796,096 SQ KMS of Land, Worlds top irrigatory system, and still Pakistani can’t get enough food to eat ?

In last 10 years or more, there are billions of USD has been sent to pakistan as Aid, and being a muslim, we should be ashamed when we say that we welcome US, UK , JPN aid for Pakistan. Our president attends the confresses of so called “Friends of Pakistan” and ask them to help pakistan more and more, Is it not begging ? We have spread our hands infront of every door in the world, is still something left to get bid of some respect we have earned since 1947 ? We are a poor country, but being an agriculture country, our people will not die, we can survive without begging. IMF and World bank gives loans, and well, its out habit of taking easy money and putting heavy load of debts over future generations of Pakistan.

We should understand what is difference between honor and shame, why we shamelessly accept donations from non-muslim countries? countries who use “haram” ways to earn money, Does this money becomes halal if they donate to Pakistan ?

Amazingly, every pakistani is accepting this “haram” and our prime minister, president and media doesnt’ stop praising those who put a penny in our begging pot !

Live with Honor , and die with Honor, Islam is the only religion which teaches the true values of a society, we call our county, Islamic republic of Pakistan , is it an islamic country ? Atleast , change our country name to Peoples Republic of Pakistan. We shouldn’t pretend if we are followers of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) when our action show a different picture.
